Supporting Young Designers

The Young Designer Furniture Award (YDFA) was created in 2007 by Dunlop Foams in association with RMIT (Tafe) to promote the discovery and development of new talent in Australian furniture design. Last year, the competition was heightened with the addition of design students from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

The Young Designer Furniture Award looks for an inspired and innovative approach to foam based furniture design for the constantly evolving collections of fresh, funky and functional furniture brought to you by Smith.

Dunlop Foams is also proud to announce their new partnership with Harvey Norman as the main retail channel for Smith products. With over 100 stores nationwide, Harvey Norman will prove to be a fantastic opportunity for the winning student. New product to be launched March 2010.
